All hardware is either sourced in the USA from berry compliant manufacturers or built to the highest standards through strategic partners specializing in personal safety equipment. Each aluminum connecting piece has a tested tensile strength far exceeding the usability range of each leash and collar.
Mil-spec Materials.
Wherever possible, we have opted to adopt one of the highest standards in material manufacturing to ensure durability, resistance to the elements, and overall product safety. All of our adjustment pieces, cord, thread, and nylon materials are berry compliant mil-spec grade and proudly made in the USA.
Confident Construction.
We've utilized construction methods based around safety redundancies to ensure a proper fit and function. All high tension pull points have been reinforced with double bartack stitches to strongly secure all elements. Manufacturing of all collars and leashes is consciously carried out in California to ensure quality.
Elements.
Fidlock V-Buckle.
This magnetic marvel made by Fidlock from Hannover, Germany is engineering mastery. Magnets on each end of the buckle pull it together when clasping, aligning it perfectly into place with surprising ease. The V-buckle remains secure during operation, withstanding immense force. When ready to unclasp, remove all tension and simply pull up on the ExBESTIA spec puller releasing the buckle instantly.
Kong Ergo Carabiner.
Carabiners greatly range in quality and construction. For a piece so heavily used and highly relied on, we opted for the Kong Ergo bent gate carabiner which was created in the Alps of Italy to withstand the rigors of human safety. Tested piece by piece, this carabiner is easy to manipulate due to its unique bent shape and is sure to withstand the test of time.
Duty Grade D-rings.
We made zero compromises with even the smallest components. Our D-rings are carefully curated to fit the role which each will serve. The larger aluminum D-ring is constructed in Austria and is used anywhere that there is tension including the collar leash attachment as well as the leash transition. Smaller made in the USA mil-spec D-rings are used as attachment points for items not under tension like identification tags and accessory pouches.
Methods.
Resilient Restraint System.
Our RES.2 system is based around safety redundancies where they matter most. All attachment points have been reinforced with mil-spec methods and materials. Adjustment features require double slides to avoid slippage. Purpose built hardware provides security.
Rapid Latch Attach.
The Fidlock V-Buckle is an intuitive design that allows for super simple connection via the proprietary magnetic mechanism. The collar is safely secured by easily aligning each end, allowing the magnets to do the work. A proper instant hold is guaranteed each time.
Dual Dedicated D-rings.
Each collar features two dedicated D-rings to ensure full function for the intended purpose. An over engineered aluminum perpendicular d-ring provides a quick & sturdy leash attachment point. The smaller flush d-ring allows for front facing identification tags.
Quick Clip Connect.
The specialty KONG leash clip on every operator provides the perfect pairing for our dedicated D-ring on the Armis collar. With an ergo friendly design, a durable snappy gate, and Italian made precision, our leash clips quickly connect and disconnect with ease.
Corder Construct.
Utilization of braided mil-spec cord creates unprecedented durability, strength, and aesthetics. All hand constructed Operator leashes are tightly woven from a 7 strand nylon core cord and are mildew and rot resistant to stand the test of time.
